UPDATE ON RASH

Update on rashes, upon serious trouble shooting. i confirmed it was regular diaper rash. So i implemented frequent diaper changes, more vaseline to moisturize and exposure to air and in a short while i noticed improvements so am finally relieved, there is still light discoloration where the rash was, i guess this was due to the peeling skin after rash dried up so i won't worry about that.

Whew! being a first time mum sure has its ups and  down, but i won't trade motherhood for the world.

NAPPY RASH or SOMETHING WORSE

I  just noticed a rash this morning around there penis and am really worried. This can't be normal nappy rash since i expect that to be on their bum and not in front. I am planing to use sudocream and i will update as regards the result. Sorry i wont post such pictures the area involved is too private. please i will welcome your suggestions regarding possible treatments.

DEDICATION THINGS

Last week Sunday was our babies dedication, we can now officially start going out. Its been culturally confusing for us, since am Yoruba and we follow 41days and he(my hubby) being from Edo follows 3 months as their custom before dedication is done. My hubby and i decided to play it in between by dedicating them at two months. So here we are on Sunday at the thanksgiving service dedication our bundles of joy.

Twin Connection or Not

This is our first experience of twin connection - sort of anyway. On a regular they eat at seperate times but today they decided to cry out for food at the same time. I had to leave both dave and dan screaming seperatly and i rushed to make bottles for them only to get back into the room and meet them smiling at each  other. They had practically rolled into one another and enjoying each others company. This was a rare kodak moment and i just couldn't resist. Enjoy.

Real SMILES

We finally have real smiles, all along have been told the few sleepy smiles that melt my heart have been gas. This time am sure its for real cos they were not  sleepy nor drowsy. Today i confirmed they are ticklish and in respond to the tickling they squirm and smile. I'll update this posts with pictures later today.

UPDATES: OK, i can see that non of my pictures carry the so called smiles but i promised they did smile i guess i wasn't fast enough to capture it properly.

HERE WE GO

As i start this blog today, my boys are 7weeks + 1day, sleeping peacefully and i really should be resting myself. I love all things creative and i enjoy writing. So this blog is an avenue to vent/express myself, documents my childrens growth, share my parenting opinions and the challenges i face in implementing them.

I had planned to start a blog while pregnant and i have been prosponing it till i delivered and now my kids are almost 2months, i have run out of excuses which is why i titled this post HERE WE GO. I'll be sharing some pregnancy photos and my birth story later. Be ready for lots of pictures as photography is one of my hobbies.
